Communication is the "link between the world and me." Communication is how we relate to ourselves and everything around us. Communication is so important that the success of a society depends on the ability of its citizens to communicate effectively. The word communication comes from the word "common", which means "equal". This suggests that in order to communiate with one another, we must find common ground To ensure this, our communication must be visual, auditory and kinesthetic.
Visual communication has to do with the way we use body language and gestures to deliver our message.
Communication can be verbal or nonberbal.

Courage

Courage - cou-rage(n.): Quality of being brave; the ability to fae danger, diffiulty, uncertainty, or pain without being overcome by fear or being deflected from a chosen course of action. (Encarta World English Dictionary)
The lack of courage can also be called fear. Fear is one of the most powerful limiting forces in life. It is all too often that people abandon their dreams, even without making an attempt to reach them, because of the fear of failure. It is all too often that people do not believe in themselves or othrs due to fear. Only with courage can we confront and ultimately destroy the thick walls of fear that separates us from our goals. To be sucessful in life we must dare to dream, we must dare to trust, and we must dare to believe.
Now is the time to contact us and learn about your first steps as a martial artist. Call 303-985-1815.
Defining Belief...
Posted: March 05, 2020
Belief is a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing... Belief is "Yes I Can"
Meet 68 year old Leadership member Mr. Denny, an 18 year army veteran, and a blue at ATA Martial Arts Lakewood. He is pictured here with his medals he won at the ATA Las Vegas National Championships in February 2020.
Belief is our inner power channeled through our core values towards the fullment of our goals. Often the beliefs we are most influenced by in our lives are negative and tend to limit us. Positive beliefs, however, are the best way to achieve total happiness and suess in life. When we hoose to foster empowering beliefs, we are on the path to unlimited success. We become what we believe, and what we believe usually beomes reality in our lives.
