Tagawa June 2014 testMr. Tagawa, originally from Brighton, CO, enjoys working with both the Karate Kids, Teens and Adult taekwondo students.  He is a great example of steadfastness, focus, strength and perseverance.   Mr. Tagawa began judo martial art training at age 9 and stuck with it for 6 years.  He was on the wrestling, football and track and field (shot put, discus and the sprint relay) teams at Weld Central H.S.

 

322241_10151030658037967_1808113517_oHis ATA goals are to earn his black collar certification, additional weapons training and certification, attend a National and World event and compete as a new 2nd degree black belt.  Mr. Tagawa is married with two children and enjoys golf, cooking, skiing and coaching his son’s wrestling and football teams and supported his daughter during her many years of high school and college marching band.  He also works for his family’s business – Tagawa Gardens in Centennial – as the CIO.
